Dear Colleagues,

It is my pleasure and privilege to invite you to participate in the 2nd International Conference on New Research and Development in Technical and Natural Science, ICNRDTNS. The conference will take place in Radenci, Slovenia, from the 22. to the 24. September 2021.

Taking into account the threat from the COVID-19 pandemic ICNRDTNS 2021 will be organized as a Hybrid Convention. This means that the implementation of all program elements is carried out physically and virtually (online), depending on the pandemic situation and the possibilities and requirements of the participants. ICNRDTNS will ensure secure physical conditions and availability to virtual presence, through advanced communications, collaboration and interaction on hybrid conference platform.

So far, many countries have either confirmed participation or intent to participate.

The first bioclimate health resort in Slovenia, featuring springs of mineral and thermal Radenska water, invites relaxation that will boost your health and well-being. Numerous regular guests are loyal to this health resort with a big heart.

The conference venue is the hotel Radin.

The PROGRAMME of ICNRDTNS includes plenary sessions, core dialogues, debates, discovery demos, knowledge exchange sessions, knowledge factories, networking meet-ups, panel talks and poster presentations on specific topics and informal networking opportunities in which practitioners share their experiences, ideas, new information and perspectives.

In the EXHIBITION AREA of ICNRDTNS, leading international manufacturers, suppliers and service providers present their latest products and services. Most participants see the exhibition as an important meeting point for professional interaction and networking within the conference.

Information and directions on registration, payment, abstract and manuscript submission, hotel booking and local transportation is available here on the official website forthe ICNRDTNS.

Dr. Cristiano Fragassa, PhD

Assistant Professor

M.Sc. in Nuclear Engineering and Ph.D. in Engineering of Materials at the University of Bologna, he has been assuming several roles inside this and other Higher Education Institutions in Europe.

In his actual position of Assistant Professor in Bologna, he performed an intense teaching activity in courses related to topics of Industrial Engineering as Engineering of industrial products; Advanced techniques for Design of Machines; Elements of Design of Machines; Security and Reliability of Mechanical Systems; Functional and Aesthetical Design of Systems.

As Contract Professor, he also performed part of courses in other Universities as Reggio Emilia, Belgrade, Kragujevac (Serbia), Rijeka (Croatia).

He has been implemening a constant research activity mainly focused on Innovative Materials at both levels of scientific investigations and industrial innovation. Author of more than one hundred contributions as scientific papers and industrial memories. He participated to more than 60 congresses and workshops all over the World, including 12 invited lectures.

He has been very active in Transfer of Technology actions toward enterprises, also holding several training courses in specific industrial sectors.

Adding, he has been assuring a continuous action in fund raising and in project management within national and EU funded research/collaborative projects. He took relevant parts (as coordinator, supervisor, main investigator, etc.) in more than 25 projects. Specifically, referring to the topic of employability, he was the coordinator of “ATC Serbija”, an EU Regional Development project, where a didactical laboratory for life-long learning was established in the centre of Western Balkan in the business area of automotive. Its aim was to support on-the-job training and fast employment of more than 100 secondary students and unemployed technicians.
